Many people think piranhas are dangerous. It’s true that piranhas do bite other animals and sometimes people.
很多人認為食人魚是危險的。

Piranhas can and do attack people. Some of the stories are true. But people are not a natural prey for piranhas.
食人魚攻擊人。有些故事是真實的。但是，人們不是食人魚的天然食物。

Many people who live in the Amazon basin are not afraid of piranhas.
Piranhas usually do not hurt humans unless the fish are hungry or in danger.
很多人生活在亞馬遜流域是不怕食人魚的。
食人魚通常不會傷害人類，除非魚飢餓或處於危險之中。

People who fish for piranhas are at most risk of being bitten.
捕食人魚的人們大多數冒著被咬的危險。

The most dangerous piranhas are the ones flopping around in the bottom of a boat.
They can bite off the fingers or toes of careless fishers.
